|
|
Hi,
Has anyone any fertilised eggs for sale from a hybrid layer that lays WHITE eggs (not browne)? I was looking at White Star hybrids, but cannot seem to but fertilised eggs. I live in Ireland so buying birds is not an option.
Could you PM me if you can help please.
Thanks in advance. |

| You can't get hybrid eggs. The breeders will sell day olds, but not eggs. If somebody has some white star running with a white egg breed cock, that is the nearest you'll get I'm afraid. They're based on white leghorn, so you might be able to get hatching eggs for those. |

| You could get a Light Sussex or White Leghorn cockerel to run with your girls. |

| I've just fossicked through their website & they seem to do only meat birds. I might see what type of Nudies they have though! |

| I reckon that because the Mediterranean breeds have had broodiness bred out of them and lay white eggs then there has not been a lot of incentive for the commercial boys to develop one. Good White Leghorns would be hard to beat. |
