When the chicks start pipping(day 18?) can I put the chicks in the brooder on wood shavings under the red light?!as they don't need to be turned when they are pipping....... :?or is it better to leave them be?? |

Leave them in the incubator as the brooder won't have a high enough humidity to help them hatch. |

| they probably won't pip till day 21 - you stop turning on day 18 so they can get oriented right in the egg. Just so you don't panic on day 19 when there's no sign of pippage! |
