Sad part is they did not seem too concerned about the leg problem. I am really upset with them right now about it. Don't know whether to make them take their horses or leave them here where I know they will at least get care. Confused

You've got to do what you feel is best for you and the foal. If you want to keep her then do but if she's causing more agro than its worth give her back. You are too busy to be just a horse sitter for uncaring parents!

Given the proper therapy, I believe I can treat and correct Knob's front hocks. But that will cost the owners and I will charge them...if they do not pay, then I will keep Knobs for myself and let them take me to court. I already have animal control involved and I am the spokes person for the humane society...they would stand little chance of winning in court.

i would ,but i'd ask them first to pay for the teartment and put it in writing or sign her over to you ,it might stop any nastyness later on ,you will have everything on your side that way ,people are a nighmare sometimes although there are some nice ones around .
