Hi, I have 6 hens and a huge feeder/hopper they just eat what they wantand we refill it every weekend. It would be impossible to know how much or who's eating what cause they all share. How many birds do you have? what sort of feeder? Ours free range most afternoons and ae fed all scraps from kitchen plus a couple of handfuls of corn dried as a treat, but their favourite is muesli and yoghurt! |

| Hi i also have six hens they are in a run which is about 20 by 20 ft but in the afternoon i open the gate and they have all the garden to themselves, i need to buy a feeder as mine doesn't work now as it was bought 4 chick crums and the layers wont go thought the holes, also i have been feeding my birds by scattering the food on the floor from a jug that i originally weighed the food in but have found they wont eat scraps of vedge or anything so i was wondering if they were too full |
