I have 3 Sumatran chicks! Full of life and grow very quick, although no idea what sex they are at 8 weeks.

i have sumatra chicks
they are black all over
they are about 1 week old
i look on the internet and all the week old black sumatra chicks have white on them
is it normal for them to be all black Question

I keep 3 breeding groups of Sumatras in all 15 birds and of all my breeds I rate Sumatras as one of the most elegant and beautiful.
They are good layers of white eggs and will brood anything including ornamental pheasants.
They are hardy and easily tamed enjoying free-range and wandering around the garden.
