| Have you tried googling biosuper, I'm sure there's some information about it on the net. |

| yup. upon further investigation biosuper is not chalk. i just wanted to neutralize the amonia on the run floor really and an old farmer suggested it, but thanks. |

There are members who use Biosuper as I'm sure it's been mentioned before.
We use Stalosan, which is very similar. |

| I've used Biosuper for the past 2 1/2 years. I used it in the lambing shelter at lambing time originaly but later found out it is also good for neutralising the amonia in the coops and runs of the chickens - it also says it's good for keeping cocidiosis at bay. I always put it at the bottom of the nest boxes and on the coop floor when I clean out and, although it has been used for 2 lambings and every time I clean the chooks (I have 6 coops and broody/quarantine houses) and do the runs every month, I still have some left out of the original bag I bought a couple of years ago. |

monica, we usually get ours from Ascotts but have had it from other places too. http://www.ascott.biz/index.html
Only ever used it in the coop though so not sure if it's suitable for the run & I'm not going out to the shed now to read the instructions! (as it's 1am!)
If I can remember I'll have a look in the morning. |
