another good site for oxford old english game is
www.jblfarm.com
its an american site with some great fowl on it
if u want proper old english game dont go 4 the carlisles
they are weird
they look like t pots
no back, wide, not balanced. they shoundnt be called old english
you could also question weather they should be called game
the oxford game is the king of all fowls and should be preserverd and kept pure

I breed pile oxford old english game
for you who dont no wat that is its sort f a brown and white
they are very handsome birds. The males cannot meet or mix unless u want them to fight to the death. Btw cockfighting been banned in england since 1849. The hens lay very well and are fabulous mothers on of my partrige hens attacked me for picking up her chick Sad
they are also tame and trusting to there owner and become great pets
and they would much rather fly up a tree then the shelter of a coop lol
and they can fly like a pheasant well the oxfords can i duno about the carlisles

I have an oeg chick who is 4 - 5 weeks old now who i bred myself. Is it normal for oeg's to grow very slowly as all my other chicks have overtaken her. Also any ideas on sexing chicks?

she is a bantam. she was the only one that hatched from my oeg's and that mother. unfortunately she has been orphaned for a week or so now as a fox killed her mum.

I did see that oeg's are slow maturing, but she is tiny. Will try and get a photo of her on here.
