| Thank goodness I'm not alone thinking that if it is /was edible, it can be fed to available livestock. |

I've never heard of anybody feeding milk to chicken before. I would imagine that if you fed this to table birds they would quickly gain weight similar to pigs when they are fed it.
The only thing I have been told never to feed chicken is avocado because it will kill them within 12 hours. Anybody else heard this? |

Yes, avocado is poisonous to chickens as well as other livestock.
You can feed yogurt to chickens so why not milk, though the only milk mine get is when they raid the cat's feeding area! I do give mine a yogurt mix though. |

John Seymour fattens cockerels on bread and milk. Ive tried it but didn't think it was any better or quicker than growers and wheat. |

My previous next door neighbour refused to eat the eggs her own chickens laid - said it made her retch just thinking about where they came from However, somehow it was ok to eat ones which came from a shop How about if the honey is in something, like a cake or a smoothie? Is it ok then Spana? |
