Hi all

Well Isobel my first cria is now 3 weeks old (doesnt time fly) and she is doing really well.

The breeder who i purchased the alpacas from is bringing up a Grey stud to hopefully mate Bella and Maya, then if all goes well in around 11 months time they will have their babies.

I will take some pics later and put on here.

I can't believe that I missed all this. That will teach me to check all the posts more carefully.

She is just adorable! and Isobel is a really pretty name - it suits her!

Barnaby (the black alpaca) was sheared just over a week ago and i would like to have his fleece made into a rug, the fleece is really soft. He looks really funny now almost 1/2 his size he was. (photo will be soon when the weather gets better)

Isobel is doing really well and growing fast.

I have another female coming at the end of the month, her name is Gismo, she is pregnant and the cria is due in June 2009, she has a male cria at foot and he is about 11 weeks old now. I have only seen gismo by photo and her baby i havent seen yet and he hasnt a name yet either. I will take some photos of them when they arrive and welcome some names for the boy.

I bought a field shelter for them so they have some cover, if it rains 9 times out of 10 they stay out in it.
