could anyone tell me what i would get if i crossed a partridge orp with either, blue, splash or black orp or, is it not a good idea in the first place!

If I was going to cross them, I would cross self blues with the partridge. There are a few blue partridge wyandottes being put through the sales and they are very pretty. I would not cross the blacks with partridge though. It will be interesting to see what you get with your orps
It depends a lot on whether your blues and partridges are pure or whether they are made up of other colours I should think, but would be an interesting program as long as you dont sell the offspring as pure colours or it may mess up someones pure breeding program of self colours as they may throw partridge chicks |

thanks, i can understand the blue partridge, but would any other offspring be either partridge or black, splash etc or would they be a mixed colour.
My question sounds confusing to me, and i know what i am trying to say, god knows what it sounds like to you!  |

Not sure whether there would be any other variations in colour i'm afraid. I should imagine there will be varying degrees of markings  |
