Depends when it got broken. Is the inside of the shell covered with blood vessels or is it clean? Confused

I hope the others hatch OK for you. Wink

Mojo always says wait until day 25 but as the chick you have only hatched on day 24, I'd give it another few days - over the weekend maybe?
Your broody may abandon them anyway if she thinks they won't hatch. Wink

Ooo congratulation. I'm waiting for my eggs to hatch. Never had a broody hen before but I'm hoping it's not a wasted effort on her behalf.

just one baby i'm afraid. Emily got off the nest today, i opened the other two eggs, one was formed but tiny and the other was just a rotten egg! The new baby is doing well, and is ooooo sooo cute. Emily is so far a very good mum! Smile
