Hi there,
Just a quick question it's a really nice day where I am and I am just wondering what age can chicks go outside for just a couple of hours or even just half an hour. Mine are almost a week old probably to young but I thought it is worth asking the question so I know when they can go out.

If they're with mum I move mine from the broody coop (rabbit hutch) into a hut with run at about 1 week, I let them out of that completely at about 3 weeks, but as Mojo says depends on the weather, also for the first few days they only want an hour or so. If they don't have a mum I wouldn't let them out of a covered run till they are at least 6 weeks old, but they are outside so to speak anyway - just not free ranging.
