Mum's just rung to say she's got some turf left over from having her front lawn relaid - and she wonders if my chickens might like it! Lucky, lucky chooks!

| collect it quick.........bring it home give it a good watering then next day instant lawn for chooks to destroy...................p.s. if you have a broody a turf upside down under her will help humidity in the summer |

Hens are out roaming the garden, and the turf is down in the run and really well watered. I wonder how many days it will last?! |

| Oh, they do like it! They all lined up in a row this morning and advanced in a line! (When will I learn to take my camera into the garden?) |
