country foxes

The foxes are different in the country but they all like chicken dinners. Evil or Very Mad

If you aren't out in the sticks then, even if all the country foxes have been shot, you will still have visiting urban foxes. Sad
A friend of mine in a similar location, used to free range her hens, they had lots of trees and bushes to get into and frequently needed to. The fox rarely, if ever, took more than one hen in a night, but the local fox population thrived on chicken dinners, and after a few years it became one chicken dinner per night. She made a lot of tall fence panels from battens and chicken wire, for moveable runs. These normally keep the foxes out, but when they do get in, they/it doesn't stop at one dinner. Crying or Very sad
