Hi Guys,

Its been ages since I've been on here. All you oldies will know...
Anyway, its also been a long time since I've been excited about stuff.. Emily, My chook, has decided to go broody, I normally break her, but this time I thought I would let her stay. So today I went and bought 2 RM Leghorn and 2 Aracunas. I actually didn't mind what i brought home but only wanted 4. So Ive now looked up the breeds and realise that the Aracunas could be a real variety of colour. The eggs are really blue, so hope that continues in the new ones.

So I was just letting you all know that in three weeks, I hope Emily will become a really good Mum!

AC xx Very Happy Very Happy

Went out to have a look at Emily yesterday and saw a broken shell, but to my surprise, that was it, just a broken shell, no chick!!! Sad tomorrow is day 21). I don't know how long it has been broken, i lifted Emily up but couldn't see anything. The other three eggs seem ok. Hopefully something will happen in the next few days. Is this unusual?
