I must admit I've just bought an orange one. I hadn't thought of painting it because I thought it was quite bright already!

Could anyone with an eglu tell me if the peanut type feeders are any good? I have been trying to get info on them from the eglu site, but no reply yet. I also want to know if they can be bought separately form the rest of the kit and how much they are. I have "stolen" the idea and made a similar thing from a football with a hole cut in the front. This makes a good feeder on the same principle as the peanut type, with some rain protection, but can't really get it clean inside.

I have emailed them to ask - I agree they look good

If I had saved for a bit longer and knew that (A) they now took 4 chucks and (B) there were Pink yes ,Pink ones I would have almost definitely got one - though I'm not Sure Mark would have agreed that they go with 140 yr old cottage !
