Wow! I am inspired. In fact I have just ordered 3 different varieties of carrot. Wind resistant sweet corn, purple beetroot, vivid green brocolli, two types of onion runner beans, snow white pumpkins and GIANT pumpkins!

...all that and it only cost £7.05!

Not too late to plant carrots! Tell him you are being very clever and avoiding the peak carrot fly time! You will still get a crop around Sept/Oct I reckon. Very Happy

How long is a piece of string? Seriously, it's very dependent on your microclimate and soil type (she says trying to sound really knowledgeable)but you should see something coming up (besides weeds Rolling Eyes ) in a week to 10 days - possibly sooner if the weather is warm.
