I've just built my first set of roosting bars, and I've even counter sunk the screw heads! I'm so pleased with myself! OH is convinced I'm completely bonkers but I don't care!
I wonder if the hens will use them???  |

Just had a peek at them, four are on one bar (it's 28'' - they've not read the books that say 9 inches each) and two are on the floor.
The second bar is empty.

| They're made from re-cycled timber, so I haven't given them a fresh coat yet. I've made them free standing, so when I get an hour one morning it'll be an easy job to re-coat them and have them dry by bed time. |
