Yesterday i double tagged the lambs - for the very first time! I hadn't done it before as a friend usually comes over to do them. Anyway, yesterday i thought - "I can do it" - so, with OH holding them, i gave them their 2nd heptivac and tagged. Only got 4 lambs but it's a start and i'm really proud of myself . |

Your right stephen they forget pretty quick normally, disbudded a while back and within about 10 minutes the calves were jumping about and eatting, think its more scarie for the human then the stock . |

| I remember seeing a herd of calves being castrated in Louisiana - at first I thought it was cruel and horrible - but I think the calves were more bothered when they were separated from their mothers before the procedure than they were after it was done. |

| Well done! The first time for all procedures is the worst. |
