Went to a local fete yesterday and hubby, showing off, won 2 coconuts. They are now cut in half - one is going out for the blue tits but I thought of hanging up the others for the chooks, is coconut ok for them?

I've never heard that its not ok, try them with a bit and see..

give them to the wild birds would think the y have too high a fat content for hens
