This week she decided to try to hatch a ceramic egg - so I have popped 5 mallard and a cayuga egg under her to see if she will hatch - all laid within 5 days so fingers crossed. Normally I wont get near her - but at the moment she loves being stroked and lots of attention - nice and peaceful. Have tried locking her out of the hut but that means the others cannot get to the nesting boxes to lay.
