This question was brought up in the poultry mart section and it's one I've been pondering too - I'm going to have some spare room in one of my runs and was thinking about keeping/breeding some quail, has anyone kept quail with chickens - is it a good idea? They would have their own accommodation on the floor while the chickens would sleep in the raised coop - would there be a problem during the day when they are all out together though? They are ground dwellers mainly.
