Just seen in my local paper a pair of rare geese valued at £500 were stolen from Thaxted, Essex on May 1st between 9.45am-10.30am! No information on what breed, just rare and brown with grey and light fawn markings
Call Saffron Walden police on 0300 3334444
Just found out, they are Naenae |

I can't find any info on Naenae geese - glosest I can find is Nene but they certainly don't look brown/grey/fawn...

I think they were Nene, pronounced nae-nae. But I do think that the valuation might be a tad excessive. A local breeder sells them at under £300/pair
