Just thought I would drop in and try to catch up on the posts I've missed lately. I seem to be out of the house for longer each day and getting less and less done each day at the moment. Anyway, I now have the Sussex and Appenzeller growers outside and still growing. The brooder has another 20 chicks in, now almost 3 weeks old (though I suspect I will have to cull a Lakenvelder with one very badly splayed leg that doesn't want to cure Confused ) Lakenvelders, Vorwerks and more Appys.

Oh, and the 'bator is off again with another batch. Not mine this time though, I'm hopefully hatching some silver Appenzellers for a friend who had a fox visit and lost all bar one of his show quality hens.

I am about to become short of housing but haven't the time to make more.... suppose it'll happen somehow! Got a pair of blue partridge Dutch coming in 10 days Laughing

I have been away at plant fairs/sales over the last two weekends and will be again this Sunday, desperately trying to catch up this week only for the weather to go all warm and windy so I spend all day watering instead Evil or Very Mad

hey-ho

Cheers folks, I was actually on Look East a couple of times recently, and BBC Radio Norfolk as well, but it was all pre-recorded and they never told me when I would be on so I missed it all Rolling Eyes This was the event that it was all for but I can't find anything on there about me other than a quick mention of the Norfolk Nursery Network which I'm part of. They did promise me a DVD of the film but whether that will ever turn up is anyone's guess Confused

BB - good luck with the hatch, hope they are good 'uns Very Happy Lucky you getting some rain forecast, they are talking about another 10 days warm and dry here Sad
