Hi everyone We now have a lill' chick and 3 '2 week olds'. The breeder who supplied us with our POL last year harped on about how all his hens were vaccinated against salmonella and wormed etc. (he does still send us wormer by post) What should we be doing with our newest additions and when? Can anyone recommend where to get the vaccines\wormers for the youngsters? Worming should be done at around six month intervals. I think as long as I keep my hygiene standard high and maintain my bio security I shouldn't have any problems. I leave those kind of worries to the big boys. We're just not as likely to let barns etc to get into a state where salmonella would thrive rampantly.
