ooooh just got myself the new Samsung U900 Soul and boy do I like the camera....5 megapixel! Took these this afternoon.....
I am so impressed with it:)
I got the phone cos I liked it,not for posing purposes, but boy does it cause a stir when I go into mobile phone shops...[I am having problems with headphones, the push in the ear ones don't fit (and no I do not have big ears ) I have a small left ear and the earpiece keeps falling out and I have discovered I am allergic to foam so cannot wear the exterior ones that sit outside your ear ] so no music at the moment.
I hand the phone over to the staff so they can check the plug in bit and whoosh the phone disappears while all the staff have a play "ooohing" and "arrgh" over it. Its very funny. |

| Lovely piccies. What are the instructions like? I've always has Samsung but my last phone drives me mad because the instructions are so vague - you have to find what you want by playing around with it, even my hi tech son has problems. I'm looking to get new one soon and want one with a decent camera, but I want to be able to understand the instruction booklet too!!! |

no hoosier, mine is attached to a wall as well
did have one the school that the twins went to insisted that i get one even though the only place that i went to was the allotments which was a shout from the gate away from the school in portsmouth ,i asked what happened before mobile phones ,but they got shirty about getting in touch and i ended up getting one
that i regularly buried in the potatoes ,dropped in the mulch for the strawberries ,and had to get one of the children to run to the phone box and ring it so i could find it
i like the fact i'm not always aviable |

Chris, I am the type that learns by fiddling until I understand it THEN go to the manual for the extra bits The manual is ok, but if you want to upload music and you have an extra card slotted in, then their software from PC to phone automatically puts it on the old "built in" memory and you have to then move it over to the new memory chip and clear the old memory....The guy in Orange (who I use) said there is probably a better way of doing it but without seeing the software, that's the way forward. It works for me. I think the manual is fine. I have had a Motorola before now and gave up with the book. Samsung have a forum for questions too which is very helpful
Not sure of other networks but I use Orange cos we get a magic number (so one other orange user - ie OH, when you ring him or text its completely free all the time BARGIN and you also get a token to buy one get one free to get into the cinema) BTW I do not work for a mobile phone company |

| Thanks for the info, I think I will read a few instructions before I buy. I am on Vodafone as we can't get Orange here. My mobile isn't very old - bought it 9 months ago - but it drives me mad, even fiddling with it doesn't get me anywhere and if I do find what i want it's usually loads of button presses away and i can never remember it again!!!!!! I wanted a tone for my text messages, nowhere in the manual does it say how to do this - believe me, I and others have search it cover to cover - then one day my son was looking at it and suddenly I had a text tone, unfortunately he can't remember how he did it! The whole manual is like that - it explains the technical things like bluetooth, internet etc... really well but hides all the day to day things you want to do. I tried the help centre re text tone and even they didn't know how to do it - so how am I -a technaphobe (sp?) -supposed to know! I don't really need the internet and all that but I do want a decent camera on it. |
