I wouldnt worry too much about the half degree (tho someone will probably say otherwise ) as long as its not fluctuating wildly, it should be fine. Just a thought, what about pm-ing attila and see what was what when they had it? Then your mind will be at rest and you can look forwards to hatching day  |

| because some incubbys are still air and some fan operated they may have differant temps........i use 37.8 C or 100F as a base guide..............but for your first 3 hatchings use the makers instructions till you know how it performs......good luck |

| its not dropped below 38 or gone higher than 38.5 Atilla said he just followed the instructions.. Im getting the eggs tomoz, the incy seems fien to me. |

Still air incubators need to be 1 - 2 degrees hotter than a fan assisted incubator, because they get hot spots, and you need to move the eggs around, ie; put the middle ones on the outside and the outside ones on the inside.
I usually incubate Pekins at around 100 to 102 degrees. Dont put any water in the incubator til the last 3 days then put in what the instructions say for the pipping stage. |

Its an autoturn octagon 10 incy, it sais to fill one resevoir, ill follow the instructions this time. If i get a bad turn out, ill try summin different..  |
