| is it normal for gosling to pull at each others feathers. I have one that seems to constantly pull the feathers on the other ones back (often very hard)and the little one has now developed a bald patch on it's back. I saw posts about chickens doing this and getting carried away drawing blood etc and it has panicked me a bit. I think having 3 that are all different ages doesnt help but I dont want the baby to suffer because teh other 2 are older |

| This is a problem if you have gosling inside. I solved it by putting grass turves in with them so they have something to pluck. Goslings eat grass straight off, so if they are prevented from grazing in the normal way, they will transfer the grazing instinct to each others feathers/down. |

| thank you, I will have Martin out digging up grass turves for them right away. That will teach him for being at home whilst I have to work! |

| is the young one old enough to go out at only around 7 days, she still spends a lot of time under the lamp in the run. We have yet to set up an out door pen that has heat in it and I was warned to be careful of rats whilst they are so young. I dont think we have any rats but couldnt guarantee it. |

yer no problems ,they dont have heaters in the wild do they  mines been out since it perked up |

| Yes, can and should go out if possible, but access to heat for a few days yet IMO. Can you give them access to grass and heat? |
