right i have a MPS12A incubator and i just cant get on with it so i am looking to up-grade / side step, have looked at a couple and would appreaciate some thoughts / advice please.

have looked at the Brinsea Octagon 10 with auto turner, does this actually take 10 chicken eggs? as i know the MPS12A says it will take 12 chicken eggs but in practicality it will only take 12 eggs if they are small chicken eggs, how easy is the Brinsea Octagon 10 to use?
I did look at the Brinsea Octagon 20 but thats out of my price range at the moment Rolling Eyes

thanks Tony

Hi Tony,
Suggest you find the extra for the 20 as the moment you have the 10 you will want the 20 - we have had 2 good hatchings from ours (idiot proof), I now wish I had gone for the 40 - there are so many things I want to incuabate and the 20 is leaving me frustrated - however OH says enough is enough!!!

Dont agree - but for the moment will have to comply, the 20 is easy to use and also to clean

Good luck with which ever one you decide on.

The instructions seem straight forward, and its holding temperature pretty well... Its my first go at incubating eggs, so i just hope i get some chicks Smile
