Can someone please settle an argument.
Which is better----------------- Having perches ABOVE nest boxes or below?.
My girls can't seem to make up their minds. We have all had a conference and as we cannot agree we have decided to ask you guys.
I am building a new coop for them and I would like to get it right.  |

| Chickens usually like to roost as high as they can. If Nest boxes are higher, then they're likely to want to roost in them. |

Perches higher. Other wise they will sleep in the nest boxes like Sedgewort said  |
