Well the first few of my copper splash maran chicks are now hatching. Had 13 eggs now down to 9 (even after collecting personally) but I am happy with that, I had too many as it was anyways.....
When a few more have hatched I will take a couple of pics.... I have one pekin x frizzle to hatch too  |

I promise I will post pics today when I get home, I have 8 out of 9 that have hatched and I noticed this morning, now they are all fluffed up that they are the traditional french maran with slight feathering on their legs and a couple I think have the white legs too....I am pleased
OK here they are.....haven't got them house trained yet

Sadly the one in the foreground on the right died last night It was the last one out and wasn't particularly strong.
All the others are doing really well  |
