| No piccies yet as he (Kieve) was born late last night and I'm not really awake yet! Mum spent all day keeping us on tenterhooks then went and did it in 1/2 an hour flat. Both farmer friend and vet were wrong, both said twins and would be born last Monday - just glad the sleepless nights are over ((yawn)). |

Here is Kieve at 12 hours old - told you he was big!!!!
Yes I am looking forward to a full nights sleep tonight but no doubt it will take a few nights before I realise I don't need to keep getting up . |

There's nothing little about this one Milkmaid - he weighs a ton!!!!!
We will keep both ram lambs entire Gilly C, all I need to do is decide if to register them. As their dad is a coloured Ryland they will have to be registered as coloured (even though they both look white) and, in the future, throw out coloured offspring! If no-one wants to buy them then I'm afraid they will go in the freezer as i haven't enough room to keep too many rams. |

My show ewe had quads last year, 2 weighed in at 10 and 12lbs whilst the other two weighed 17lbs each........... poor girl struggled to get up the last week. Boy was I pleased when she lambed first!! I also had 3 singles, 2 weighing 18 and one at 19lbs (I thought I was lambing a donkey with the last one.........) thank heavens that none were maiden ewes!!! sweet lamb Chris |

I know bless her. Then I hear clients talking about how huge their baby was at 8lbs and I think "you've no idea....." (mind you, lambs are a slightly better shape to produce than children before you all start shouting ) |
