Well still no sign of any more lambs from my last ewe, maybe shes not in Lamb.

I never had any of them scanned.

Cant see if she has any udders as her coat is long around that area.

The coloured marking was left my the Ram on her on 21st November 2007.

Maybe it never worked first time or maybe shes not pregnant at all.

WOULD A PREGNANCY TEST FROM BOOTS WORK ON HER Embarassed

What happened in the end, did she lamb in the end? if yes how long after the believed due date was it?

mine was something they call a cloud bust in goats ,they show all the signs of being pregnant and then they produce loads of water and milk the same as if they had been pregnant
but i tend to watch the back end ,they get saggy in the naughty area (sorry)

The ewe is not the tamest we have, she will come over to me when i go in the field especially when i have a bucket in my hands.

I have tryed to feel if she has udders but she wont stand still long enough.

We called her posh bird as her "Ba ing" is higher pitched than the others.

I also noticed yesterday that the 2 of the boy lambs were banging their heads together, not hard, it looked weird as at times they just were touching head to head.

The 3 boys have had their bits done about 3 weeks ago, a freind rubber banded the boys bits and all 4 tails. The tails have all fallen off and the boys bits have gone to.

It is usually 145 days for a pregnancy, anyway if you put her feed down pop round the back of her, lift her tail, Embarassed

her naughty bits should look swollen and pink Embarassed

there you go, that what I was doing a couple of weeks back !! That means that they will shortly lamb.
Around here they shoot the magpies and crows and I was against it, until I heard tales like yours.

I'm so sorry to hear about your ewe and lambs.

It should be just short of 21 weeks I think its average though it can longer or shorter depending on breeds of ewes and rams. Average is 20 weeks and 5 days it shouldn't be long if it caught though.

I will go out there today and see if i can see any signs as mentioned by yourselves.

What are your thoughts on using a Pregnancy test from the chemist, does anyone think it would work on a ewe Question

Well the smoring i gave them some veg and picked her tail up to see if i could see anything, she has a very dirty bum Shocked

(i was told that the grass must be coming on). She is the timid one out of the 3 (thats my luck). None of my family like to get that close to the animals as they are abit scared. I have a freind coming up later and i will see if she can give me a hand.

There are 2 rams in the field with the ewes/lambs, i havent seen either of them trying to get on top of her since she had the markings on her back.

If she is pregnant maybe she didnt fall straight away and may not be due yet. Shes eating and walking around with the others ok. She does look big but she has a very wooly coat.
