I started off saturday with one - bent leg so couldn't bend down to suckle off mum
then there was a triplet yesterday
this morning there was a lamb whose mum had absolutley no milk at all
then this afternoon there was a tiny premature girl who couldn't stand, she can just about manage to walk now but is a nightmare at suckling, very slow and tiny amounts at a go
they are curled up in front of the fire at the moment
the boys are getting ejected to the barn tomorrow morning |

Ahhhh, the things we do for love eh! Good Luck with them all debcat. Got any piccies?
Our little one has cottoned on whats what so not feeding her but now having to clean up rear end as mum isn't! Still waiting for number 3 ewe to lamb, both vet and farmer friend were wrong - they said she would lamb Monday afternoon but she is sitting tight till the 12th (when she's due) i think ---- she's seen too much going on with the others me thinks |

it's great that your little one has got the hang
the triplet has been fostered onto the tiny ones mum, she was desperate for a lamb, took one look at him and started washing him
the fact that he's 5 days old, a different colour and loads bigger didn't bother her in the slightest
Might be getting another one later tonight or tomorrow, mum has been butting her, she loves the other twin though |
