Can anyone recognise this plant? It's an indoor one my Mum has split & given some to us but she doesn't know what it's called. The leaves are about a foot long & no, they don't close up at night. Does it have a common name - one that I can pronounce would be good! Have you moved it from where it was before, or done anything drastic to it like dividing? Several options - cut off some leaves or half some leaves, stick a big clear plastic bag over the whole plant, mist regularly with tepid water. Make sure it isn't in a draft. If it doesn't pick up in 24 hrs do more of the above, the plastic bag may be best if you can find a big enough one.
