I'm thinking of taking on some ex battery hens - what do you recommend as a supplement to get them back on their feet? (literally and figuratively!) I feed an organic pellet to my ladies at present, and instead of buying separate layers mash I thought I'd zuzz some pellets down in the blender. (To make it finer)
Any thoughts or commments? |

| TBH I think if they can access the great outdoors they will find all the treats and nutrients they need as long as you give them layers pellets ad lib. You can mess with their digestion if you give too many suppliments/treats etc. Many on here recommend apple cider vinegar in the water as a tonic - can't do any harm. |
