At last, my LS, Millie, has graced us with an egg! We've been waiting for her to lay since last November and she showed no sign until her comb reddened and grew a bit over the last week.
Today I noticed she was in the nest box for a while after sun up and sure enough, she'd laid a smallish speckeldy egg. So happy as OH was debating whether to cook her as she was 'free-loading'!
Yay! |
