Not bad so far...path is a litle narrow, as the canal tiles were my last minute idea, but I love them. We've run out of membrane, so still more to do...but I hope to have a weed free summer this year.

Whose a clever girl then - just like Trouty - you have the ideas and Mark has the implementation!!

I dread in the middle of the night when she says I have been thinking - the job list is getting longer rather than declining especially as I had to have a 24 hour break to watch some serious hatching going on!!!

Nice photos Nanny, what are you going to plant in the membrane areas. Will you be planting through it? We put old carpet down last year and are virtually weed free this year and I have shallots, garlic, onions, asparagus and broad beans coming on a storm. I have planted loads of potatoes in another area to "clean" the ground. Our first purchas in France last year was a rotavator! So necessary and no second hand ones to be had! Regards Viv

Nothing is planted at the moment...I am not a prolific gardener.
I am still considering...but will be planting through and like you, I'll be growing some brassica, but all from plants. Haven't worked out how to gorw asparagus yet...so will look into that.
Butternut squash sees sent me by my daughter, courgettes, runner beans, bertroot maybe.
