we did have a rosemary ,looks very sick ,when we moved tony wanted to bring the acer with us it's now a dead twig Embarassed the lavender seems ok though ,i think a lot of them drowned ,it's also one of the highest rainfall places in the uk ,did manage an apple though till the ducks eat it Twisted Evil
raspberries do well ,so does willow ,oh and reeds

that was why i didn't want to bring it ,it was lovely in a pot in portsmouth ,but poor thing didn't stand an earthly here ,i'm also wondering how cobnuts would do

we have loads of hazel here , blackberries, damson & sloe Smile
and lots of crab apples useful for pectin in jam or making apple or mint or chillie jelly Very Happy yummy

mint is good here ,next door has a tiny blackberry
in the trees at the back ,it's funny here after about 2 years things start growing if they don't die the first year ,we acutally have a patch of stingers that we are carefully looking after

I forgot to take one from the W we get
sea breeze from both sides as we are
on a headland

we are about a 100 yds from the high
waterline as seen on the pics from
our house Very Happy

Cockatiels, budgies, Love birds , Diamond doves and a Quaker,
it lost its mate and started feather plucking so I put in in aviary
happy now unless I am around hates me Sad did have painted quail
and canaries but not replaced them most of the cockatiels I have
had given ! all getting a bit old now but I am not replacing them
as we plan to retire to France also hace a CAG 3 dogs a pond and
hubbies Bonsai as well as the Silkies and the guineas lol

Just a thought - Icelandic lupins are tough as old boots, look stunning, and my sheep at least leave them well alone!
