Lovely birds! I really want three hens to add to my flock but can't seem to get them anywhere! Hatching eggs is a risk as I've got no previous knowledge of hatching my own, I'm at 6th form during the week and they look to be hard to hatch!
I'll just have to keep on looking as I really would like some!

| Don't give up Oliver. I have emailed my daughter (who gave me the eggs which hatched that cockerel in the photo) and am hoping that when she replies she will tell me where she got those eggs. Daughter lives in Cumbria so hopefully Scots Dumpy owner won't be too far away from you. |

There is a Culzeanchooks, remarkably from Culzean, on the Practical Poultry forum who has them in Black - not sure if LF or Banties though.
Think that might be the nearest to you I've come across. |

| i have a lovely scot's dumpy called Speedy - because she was our first chook to lay and she can run like the wind! unfortunately she hates being handled and wont eat off my hand like the other birds. are all dumpies anti social? |

| there is a poultry sale in Caledonian Mart Stirling this sat morning(11 october) and the catalogue says that there are going to be Scots Dumpies for sale. |
