Looking at all the other breed threads, I don't think any other breed has incited such ribaldry...
araucanachick will no doubt be adding to this soon... she swears her TNN cockerel is such a gentleman, tips his hat when he services a hen... I didn't believe until I saw him. It was like "thank you kindly ma'am". |

Hi All
Anyone know of any breeders of these lovely birds? I know Wernlas breed them, and I believe Poultry Mad in Louth do, just wondered who else.
Especially the other (non black) colours.

Questions, Questions.
How many eggs a year do TNN's lay, and are they a good utility bird? (Im just thinking that if I hatch some for eggs, would the cockrals and excess hens make a good sunday lunch?) |
