i just had a phone call would it be alright for 15 disabled children to come and visit the animals
of course the answer was yes
right we'll be up in 15 minutes ,
i had to sort out ,which of the animals ,chicks and chickens were the least flighty ,
well they all trooped out and met shawna, pax and north the dogs ,the cats were nowhere to be seen, the chicks were held and cuddled and the goat kids played around the feet of all while holi stood to get stroked it was a shame it was such a rotten day ,but they went away happy ,next year hopefully there will be a couple of sheep to stroke or bottle feed ,and it'll be a better day .

Suz...you are as insane as me! Well, maybe not as insane as you only agreed to 15, I agreed to 40+. Laughing

I am sure they went away with wonderful memories. Wink

it's funny i had ideas about how i would run this place but the croft seems to have a mind of it's own and one of the things that seems to be happening is that we are attracting children from far and wide
i thought that as we lived in a rural location then all the children would know about animals ,that only seems to happen if they have family who have crofts ,the others don't seem to have met many animals ,
and now i'm being blamed as a person do the road who had a couple of horses is now building a chicken run and read my stuff on shetland cows and has just ordered one,
Whistle
36 count on chickens on the form
didn't mind the notice knobby ,the goats just didn't like the rain and they had to go to the children as the ground is quite bad ,isn't it deb

Nor did you have to send the rain down here either, it's been chucking it down since Pat got in from work, Crying or Very sad

(mind you he might have had a word with the Rain Gods, just to get the night off! Twisted Evil )
