Hello Jaydee67,
As you appear to be taking orders for baskets now, please will you put me on your list for one to carry 12 or so eggs? I love the style of your original photo & am happy to go along with whatever your artistic fingers care to fashion. Time is not a factor - just when the spirit moves you! A postal order will wing it's way to you when you are ready.
Happy weaving, sincerley, Ann.

Ok - looks like I'd better get some willow soaking! How big do you want your basket Skye? How long a handle do you both want?

I suppose around 20"inches or so would be fine, but it depends on the style you want to make. As long as it suits the basket shape I'm happy to leave it to you.
Many thanks, Ann.

Hi Jaydee,
Just thought I'd better get in touch re- my basket order as I don't want you to think I'd forgotten. Please let me know when you want the cash & I will send you a cheque including postage.
They look so good that no doubt you've been inundated with orders so there is no hurry. Happy crafting, Ann.

You may not believe it but your willow is soaking in the trough and should be ready for working Thursday/ Friday this week. Do you have a preference for buff (stripped) or brown (bark on) or a mix? I am soaking enough for 2 baskets so you can have first pick.

Very Happy Hi Jaydee,
I really don't mind at all & will leave it to your artistic imagination!
Like me with stained glass, the materials give you the design inspiration!!
I look forward to recieving the new basket in due course.
Perhaps you can take a photo for the Forum? as I'm sure other readers will be interested Very Happy

There's an enormous basket adorning a roundabout near here ... it must be 6 feet tall, with an enormous handle ... and is full of flowers. It looks so gorgeous!

Wish I knew where to start with basket weaving, as I'd make one myself for our garden.
