Hi just wondered if council has rules etc about keeping hens in the garden for the use of eggs etc!
not sure if i need to apply for license i only want 2 or 3 will obviously have the coop and the correct livingre quirements for them

If you rent your house, check your lease or ask your landlord. If you own your house, is there anything in the deeds to say you may not have poultry? Have a word with adjoining neighbours (stress that surplus fresh eggs might be available) as it's always useful to have them 'on side' if you need a hen sitter when you're away.
