| well i treated them with red mite powder when i first spotted them i done the birds and their house then the weekend after i used diatom and sprayed soaked the house in poultry shield but when i done the second treatment i could not find any?surley the red mite powder alone could not of got them anyway i am going to vontinue the treatments as apprentley they lay their eggs in the cracks and have a few weeks cycle before they can hatch so i will be expecting them to re surface in a week or so time it makes it awkard for us as i do not have access to a pressure washer but do have a plumbers blow lamp that i also used i checked over my other houses and cant see any signs of them in there so i treated them as a precaution too but i am pretty confident its only the birds we bought in that were infested i have never seen any before and have to be honest when i first spotted them i almost missed them you need to take a real close look it was starting to get dark when i noticed our too also i had just cleaned the house out and had been bashing about so probabley disturbed them |
