| George, you and Pat do some impressive work! Are you going to cover the top with something solid to give your flock a little shade? |

Hiya Deb.
Probably not as the picture is a little deceptive, as I have usually taken them in the morning, but by noon the run moves into shade anyway,
and it doesn't get much early morning sun because of the oak trees next door,
So there will only be a few hours when it's in full sun and they could always go into the house if it was too much,
Also because of the oak, it doesn't get very wet even if it's chucking it down, |

You're asking me ?
Pat's a bit of a perfectionist
We are still waiting for the weldmesh which was ordered 2 weeks ago
Still to do are the perches and the pop-door and the window,
The frame now fixed in place, and their bench in (they love sitting on it and sunbathing )

Um, honestly , no. I have just come back from Whyteleaf, Slough and Reading and would prefer not to look at the South East again for another year!! Unfortunatley, I have to come back up to Kent at the end of July |

Yeah, hummmmmmm. We ordered it on the 20th, anyway Pat phoned them today to ask where it was and they said they would dispatch it today
As you can imagine (or perhaps you can't) but the phone line would have gone red hot with him having a go at them
They say it will turn up in the morning!

| Had a similar experience George - ordered a school fleece for Craig, was told it would be a week. 2 weeks later I went to pick it up - not there but assured the boss would look into it and phone me. Week and a half later - I remembered to phone him - 'umm sorry I didn't do that did I?' He looked into it - only been ordered that day! Many apologies and I am getting it free! |
