I am doing an all night vigial. My horse is looking like foaling tonight. I have been watching her for the last week as she is bagged up. Tonight she has more of her usual symptoms. I now wish I had a little more sleep recently, feeling tired already. Here's hopin all goes well. Exclamation

Giggling really hard!!!!!!! Just at the topics title!!!!!! Laughing

No, still haven't foaled on this end yet. Maybe we will get our foals at the same time! Mine was just waiting for yours to get ready. Wink

Tippy has been bagged up for awhile now. She looks more and more miserable as the days progress. I will be talking to the owner about inducing, if she does not have it this weekend. If they refuse to do it, then I am going to ask them to remove her from my property, as it is reaching the critical and cruel stage. Shocked I do not want any part of that and can not stand to watch animals suffer.

Good luck with yours!!!!! I doubt you will have a month's worth of all nighters like I have had....well, I hope you don't at least! Confused

Any news Mandy, or are you still sitting waiting ~ oh please don't let it be like Deb's has been. We can't have two of you worn out with watching and waiting.
Deb I agree entirely with your sentiments, sometimes we have to help things along ~ I guess eventually there must be a chance of the foal dying if it doesn't get itself outside soon enough. The placenta must get worn out at some stage.
Hope they both manage it this weekend in a natural way

I thought this was it till I saw the post wasn't from Deb.

Mandy, I hope she hurries up and you don't have to wait as long as Deb has

Deb, you must be totally fed up and shattered now. I don't blame you for putting a deadline, it's bad enough worrying about your own horse let alone the responsibility of someone elses.

Sorry no news, I am lucky to be able to bring my mare around the back of the house into a very enclosed area and turn on the flood light, by doing this I can set up a sunlounger chair in the sun hall and snooze on it, waking up to look out the window at her without even getting up as the window sills aren't even knee height. Mind you I don't want to do this for too many nights no matter how convenient a set up it is!!!! Rolling Eyes
