i must abmit i saw some of the flock when a chap from tolsta ,and he said i could have a couple i was good ,although i was tempted

Thanks for the feedback. sparklepeeps you are right about the eyes, there are very piercing. I have never seen that in any other breed.

Don't know much about Heb sheep - are they similar to Soay and what is the fleece like as I love spinning different fleeces. The fleece on the sheep in the picture looks as if it naturally comes off like the Soay - is that the case? Jan OH Richard

Good photo! Did you use a flash Welsh Duck? My next door neighbour has Hebs and their eyes are "normal" ...... Nice flock of sheep though, taste good too Laughing I think Hebs do shed their fleece naturally dont they if the weather gets warm? (certainly down here in England on the low land)

Yes I did use a flash.... I don't know much about Heb sheep as we keep Texels down south. But these in the croft below have VERY PIERCING EYES Shocked

They are lovely though.
