I am looking for information on the breed called the white sully.
The only thing I know is they held the world record of biggest chicken with rooster that weighed over 23 lbs. I would love to own a pair of them but have never seen any for sell. If any one out there knows where I might be able to get them please let me know.

sorry Les, I know nothing about these chickens. I think this should have gone into misc, maybe Deb or Stephen will move it, or you could delete it and repost it.

The meanest chicken

The White Sully chickens raised by Mr. Grant Sullens from West Pont, California, USA, have been recognized as the meanest chickens. Mrs. Sullen's full-grown chickens weigh-in at 7.5-8.8kg and are quite savage. In January 1973, one of Mr. Sullens' cocks, which weighed 10kg, heard its name, 'Weirdo', and promptly killed two cats and seriously injured a dog.

The heaviest breed of chicken is the White Sully, developed by Grant Sullens of West Point, CA by crossing and recrossing large Rhode Island Reds with other varieties.

The largest recorded chicken is Big Snow, a rooster weighing 23 pounds 3ounces on 12 June 1992, with a chest girth of 2 feet 9 inches and standing 1 foot 5 inches at the shoulder. Owned and bred by Ronald Alldridge of Deuchar, Queensland, Australia, Big Snow died of natural causes on 6 September 1992.
