I got Dobbin from freecycle
and with a bit of paint, some wool and some crystals transformed him into Stardust
if my Grandaughter gets as much pleasure playing with it as I have had doing it I will be very happy !

I agree, Dobbin did look rather mean & aggressive! Stardust is gorgeous!

Thanks folks, I am very pleased with it, cost me less than £10 for materiels and much nicer than plastic, my daughter has her old one' proper horse shaped and fur fabric, very 70's and a bit bald so nice to have a different type and this one is smaller too |

| Thanks, I got the wool from Wilkinsons only £1 and the metallic paint was just a sample pot, got the felt and trimmings off Barrow Market, they have a proper old fasioned indoor market where you can get most things ! |

I've gotta big rocking horse for my little ones , there really beautiful toys for kids.
You've done a great job , but that type can be a little dangerous with little fingers and toes getting caught underneath , have to be extra careful .. |
